Kristeen Geddes RGN NIP BA (Nursing) BSc PGd Clinical Dermatology Clinical Director and lead trainer.
Kristeen is the founder and director of both RENU Skin Clinic and RENU Academy. She graduated from the University of Dundee School of Nursing in 2006. Shortly after qualifying she began her aesthetics career whilst continuing to work for the NHS in both renal dialysis and Accident and Emergency. It was in 2014 she left the NHS to work full time in her busy clinic.
She then further gained her Independent Nurse Prescribers qualification in 2011 allowing her to prescribe medication. To further her knowledge she undertook further studies to gain a BSc in Dermatology and has now passed with distinction her PGd in Clinical Dermatology.
She was voted Best Practitioner, Best Clinic and Best Training Academy in 2017 and is up for the most prestigious aesthetic awards in London in May 2021 as Best Clinic Scotland. She was given Highly Commended status for Best Clinic Scotland in 2018 and also finalist for Best Clinic Scotland in 2015 for the prestigious aesthetic awards London.
A KOL for ZO Skin Health and on the UK faculty board she strives to give her knowledge to other delegates and take them to a level she is at today. She has also had 2 published journals in the Journal Of Aesthetic Nursing and regularly writes for the aesthetic industry. She has been a trainer and lecturer in medical aesthetics since 2014 and is recognised by her peers as a highly skilled injector and trainer. Recently she has completed her Train The Trainers course with he well respected Dalvi Humzai
Her passion is to help others and give the training required to successfully start a career in medical aesthetics. She wants to pass on this knowledge to help those make a successful medical aesthetics career as she has today.
Iain Geddes-Academy Director. Iain has been with the company since 2014 after leaving his career as an Engineer to help run the academy with his wife. Iain is also the director of our sister company RENU Skin Clinic.
Iain is head of marketing and carries out all of our website and technical aspects of the clinic and academy.
Dr Aisling Hanly BDS has been with us right from the start. Aisling trained in 2008 with myself and we have carried out training courses ever since. Aisling has won numerous awards for Best Dentist to Best Aesthetics Practitioner. Aisling runs her own very successful dental practice and facial aesthetics clinic in Kirriemuir.

Laura Thomson- RGN NIP is our trainer for our entry level courses in BOTOX and Dermal Fillers. Laura qualified in 2005 and has worked in chronic and acute care since. She qualified as an NIP in 2016 and now works as a specialist nurse running her own nurse-led clinics. Laura completed her training with Renu Academy. Seeing how quickly Laura adapted and learnt and with her ethical skills she was quickly sought after to become a trainer at the academy. Her dedication and commitment she has shown made her a valuable member of the team and she is always learning daily.
When Laura isn’t working or teaching she is looking after her two wonderful girls.
Anne Stewart- Course Co-Ordinator. Anne has been with us since 2014 and has been the main point of contact for the academy for all enquiries and model bookings. Anne has a wealth of marking and sales experience having worked for some of the biggest sales companies in the UK.
